Perinatal Mental Health Team Planning Workshop.

Invitation for patients to attend and help plan services for those who have mental health problems around the time of pregnancy. Wednesday the 17th December 2014, in Fulham.

The team are working on a project to improve the way parents and families are supported through mental health difficulties in Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham. As part of this we are keen to hear from anyone with family who are/have experienced of mental health difficulties, at any time from planning a baby, during pregnancy and into the first postnatal year. These difficulties could be relatively mild, right the way through to conditions that required medical intervention and even hospitalisation.

They are keen to hear from mothers, fathers, partners or other family members of those who needed support. We want to ensure that perinatal mental health care in these boroughs is able to reach those in need and we want to identify where the current system works and where it doesn’t.
